UPDATE: Apple has now confirmed an event is set for April 20th, Called Spring Loaded, it will be available to watch online from 10am PDT.

Original Story Follows...

According to Siri, the Apple Event 2021 appears to be on after all. Apple’s voice assistant recently started telling people the exact date and place of the major launch event.

This information hasn’t yet been officially released, but Siri says it should be happening on Tuesday, April 20.

Siri Has Potentially Leaked Apple's Next Event Early

If you’re wondering what Siri has to say about the next Apple event, simply ask her: "When is the next Apple event happening?". You’ll be surprised, but the virtual assistant will tell you all there is to know about the event, including when and where it's taking place.

Here’s exactly what Siri answers to the question above:

The special event is on Tuesday, April 20, at Apple Park in Cupertino, CA. You can get all the details on Apple.com.

Clicking the link takes you to the usual Apple Event landing page. However, the launch details aren’t yet located there.

It also seems a bit strange that Siri says the event should be held in Cupertino since it’s possible that this year’s event will be online-only and pre-recorded.

We can only speculate as to whether this leak was planned or Siri actually spilled the beans about the next Apple event by mistake. Since Apple usually sends out press invitations for such events around a week before the event’s date, it’s possible that Apple will officially announce the event in the next few days.

What New Apple Products Should We Expect?

Apple’s virtual assistant doesn’t provide any details about what devices Apple plans to announce at the event. However, it’s entirely possible that Apple will reveal some of its most anticipated products.

One of them is the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro with a mini-LED display. There are some issues with the production of the mini-LED displays, but we still expect this product to be announced sooner rather than later. Which backs up Siri's claims that the next Apple event will take place on April 20.

We can only guess whether Apple will announce its long-awaited AirTags at this event. They were expected to launch last year, but were never actually released.

There have also been many rumors flying around about the redesigned M1 Apple Silicon iMac.

If everything plays out as Siri claims it's going to, there is a good possibility that these Apple products will be officially announced by the end of the month.
