Are there services to run a Windows 8 simulator within older versions of Windows computer? Please note that I have asked about simulation not trial copy. Can you recommend any services if available

Try to use a virtualization software to run the OS virtually but keeping in mind that these software might need more memory ressources than what you can supply to run them.

If you mean simulation like that of Android using its SDK, then sorry, it is not possible at the moment. However, you can use Virtual Box or any other virtualization software to run the OS virtually. Keep note that you have enough computing power in your system!Hoping this helps! :)

I think better would be a virtual machine! You can use virtualbox, or vmware workstation(the one I prefer, but it's not a free software).

well it is on softpedia alsoThis software is not based on real windows 8 OS. Therefore, you can't install applications and some application is not like windows 8 applications. You will be able to run Windows 8 Simulator as a Windows application that will allow you to test and feel the upcoming Windows 8.

your question is a little ambiguous, if you wish to run win8 within older Windows then virttualbox and the like would be fine. But what I think you are asking is how can you make Win7 look like Win8. I cannot take credit for the following as it was in WebUser 4th Oct.Install and launch Rainmeter(rainmeter.net) Then download and install Omnimo(omnimo.info). Then using panels as the theme you can make it look much more like Win8. There is a detailed explanation including other gadgets to improve likeness to the new OS but I need to know if thats what you were asking.

Try using virtualbox https://www.virtualbox.org which is free software for emulating other operating systems in a virtual machine.

Why a simulator? Why not run the real deal inside a virtual machine?
