I have just switched from Firefox to Maxthon for browser. Really like it but miss being able to use 'ctrl' whilst clicking a link in webpage to open in new tab.

Maxthon has a global 'new tab' setting but this opens all links in new tabs which is annoying when working within a website. I want to only open outward links in a new tab. Anyone know how?

Thanks.

The last time I used maxthon, I used to hold the link and shake it a little to open it in a new tab. Doesn't that work anymore?

Andy, did you try [SHIFT] + clicking the URL? Apparently, [SHIFT] is the shortcut key to open links in a new tab.
