According to our Facebook fans, the most popular file-sharing service is currently tied between http://megaupload.com and http://dropbox.com

For big files you could open an account on Adrive.com which gives you 50GBs of Internet storage. You can share the files from there.

I would recommend to go with one of the desktop file sharing clients (most of them are similar to the above mentioned Opera Unite). With the desktop file sharing client you simple take a file and drop it on your contact the program will do the rest i.e. contact the contact and sending him/her a file. http://www.pando.com/https://www.dropbox.com/http://www.steekr.com/n/1-62/http://www.civilnetizen.com/http://dockdropx.comhttp://www.dropsend.com/Read MakeUseOf review of each of the above desktop file sharing clients.

You can all also download and sync with one Dropbox account. If you want to avoid Dropbox, you can use Google Docs to upload and share files now without converting them to a Google Doc.

I can think of two ways - either use an online hosting service like Mediafire (www.mediafire.com - really easy to use, they explain it step-by-step) or a program like Hamachi (http://hamachi.en.softonic.com/ - just remember that both of you will have to install it). I think an online hosting service is the easiest though, unless you and your friends are close enough to transfer physically with a pendrive?
