I have a problem with a non-functioning trackpad in MacBook Pro. I am now trying to set up my Magic Mouse instead, but I can't select anything with key-strokes WITHIN a menu. How does one shuttle between options, e.g. Mouse Keys 'On' or 'Off' (the latter is default)?

I'm not sure I can follow you~ did you connect your Magic Mouse with the MacBook Pro already or are you trying to do so? As for Mouse Keys you can find them at one of the following linkshttp://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.5/en/cdb_moskys.htmlhttp://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.6/en/cdb_moskys.html

Thanks for the pointers, Mike! No, I have not installed my Magic Mouse yet, for I can't select the "internal" menus of any option (like "look for devices; or enabling they key-board, rather than the mouse .. I tried hitting the option key five times in 'Universal Access', to no avail). In other words, how does one get INSIDE the menu, to shuttle between option, in order to make selections (e.g. switch on something, select 'yes' over a 'no', etc)? All good things, Walter

To be honest I never really dealt with that problem to that extend. I usually just connect a cheap 5$ USB mouse lying around ~ this is also my suggestion to you, if you have some USB mouse around (any should do) connect it, setup your Magic Mouse and have fun.
