I'm looking for an iPod managing application for Linux which enables saving the playlist on my iPod in folders.

I'm currently using GTKPod, which doesn't allow having playlist folders.

Thanks in advance!

HiUsing the 5G iPod with Linux GTKPodI'm sure that if you are using Linux with the iPod, you already know about this program. Some tips:Use GTKPod 0.99.2 (or newer)Use libgpod 0.3.0 (or newer)These versions allow for video support and Album Artwork. There is an issue with Artwork, though. You can only add so much before you start getting errors. This can be fixed by hacking libgpod before you compile it:Find the file src/db-artwork-writer.cchange#define "IPOD_MMAP_SIZE 2 * 1024 * 1024"to #define "IPOD_MMAP_SIZE 8 * 1024 * 1024"Note: Be CAREFUL This could potentially jack up all your hardware. Album ArtworkAdd your music to the iPod with GTKPod.Right-click the song in GTKPod and select "Edit Details"Add the Album ArtworkSync the iPodNote that you can also adjust GTKPod's preferences to attempt to add artwork automatically. This can give a false sense of security though, depending on your naming methods. For example, often times the Album Artwork I keep stored has a slightly modified name (to avoid special characters), and this isn't always auto-detected.http://forums.ilounge.com/hacks-mods/145119-using-5g-ipod-linux.html

I thought Rhythmbox or Banshee did this, but I can't remember and don't have an iPod to test on. Have you tried these programs?
