Now that Samsung's One UI 5 and Android 13 update is rolling out to Galaxy S22 devices, you might be wondering when your Galaxy phone will receive it.

Fortunately, we've now got a good idea as Samsung has posted a schedule on its Community forums for users in South Korea. It runs up to February 2023 and shows a large number of phones getting updated this year.

Although it's focused on the Korean rollout, we'd say it's safe to assume that other regions will see the updates released roughly around the same time. So let's take a closer look.

One UI 5 Release Schedule

The launch schedule as published on the Samsung Community forum shows that nearly 40 devices will get Android 13 and One UI 5 before the end of 2022. This is in addition to the S22 devices, for which the update is already available. Here's the full list.

While the list is pretty comprehensive, it does focus on the Korean market specifically, so a few popular devices are missing, including the likes of the Galaxy S21 FE, the Galaxy A52, and the Galaxy A72. These are all set to receive several years of updates and seem likely to receive the next one on the same schedule as other S and A-series devices.

Get Ready for Android 13

Samsung has arguably the best update policy for its devices. It delivers them quickly and for many of its phones—there are 50 phones on this list, and that doesn't include those models that are absent.

Interestingly, Vivo is also among the earliest to update, having recently pushed the Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 to its flagship X80 Pro device. Yet the Pixel phones remain the gold standard if getting updates first is a priority for you.
