1. Magicplan
Magicplan is great for creating accurate and realistic room plans for your home, and it has a number of features that will help you to do this.
You can use the app's room scanner option to create a layout that replicates your room of choice exactly. You just need to let the app use your camera to identify the corners, doors, and height of your room, and then you're good to go.
After this, you can simply add in any features to the room plan, such as units, outlets, windows, and more, so that you can create an accurate floor plan.

Palette Home's sole purpose is to allow you to create a detailed and accurate room plan. Once you've selected the type of room you want to create, be it a bathroom, living space, or other, the app will give you a basic square room plan that you can then edit to your own specifications.
With the app's editing options, you can select the room's shape, dimensions, furnishings, and other elements. After you're finished editing, you can even view a 3D version of the room, which allows you to see whether or not it's all looking good.
Of course, if you realize the room doesn't look right upon the 3D viewing, you can always go back and modify your design. You can then save your room plan, and continue to create new ones.

However, if you're looking to get into floor planning as more of a hobby, the app offers a new design challenge every week for you to take part in. These challenges can range from designing bathrooms, to kitchens, to kids' bedrooms.
The app's premium version will cost you around $8 a month, though there is an annual subscription available too. With this version, you can unlock all design items, and edit the features of all items, too.
