My roommate's Toshiba laptop running Windows Vista got a Live Security Platinum alert screen. Help please!
He opened a website, the screen popped up etc., he tried a hard reboot, control panel, delete internet options of all cache, then tried to delete the "program". Now all his computer does in power up, then about ten seconds into it, powers down. Any help out there? Thanks

. If you cannot get the computer to boot into Safe Mode, you may need to boot from the Vista DVD to go to repair mode (command prompt) and run the system file checker (sfc /scannow) in order to fix the files needed to boot first.
