Roborock is upping its game with the introduction of a new lineup of robot vacuums at CES 2023 in Las Vegas. Here’s what you need to know.

Say Hello to the Roborock S8 Series

The company’s new Roborock S8 Series features three models—the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, Roborock S8+, and the Roborock S8.

At the top end, the S8 Pro Ultra features a new RockDock Ultra system for automatic mop washing, dust emptying, refilling, and self-cleaning. Warm-air drying will also prevent mold growth and odors on the mop pad and dock.

The VibraRise 2.0 Mopping System on both the S8 Pro Ultra and S8+ vibrates at 3,000 times per minute to help scrub against stains on floors. And the S8 Pro Ultra will also offer two vibration modes for the best possible cleaning.

All the new models will also feature a new dual rubber roller brush system. Previous models from Roborock only offered a single brush.

But the new dual system should be able to improve dirt pickup while also being more effective against hair tangles. That definitely is great news for anyone with pets who shed around the home.

When the S8 Pro Ultra is in mop mode, and when the robot vacuum returns to the dock, the dual brush system will automatically lift 6mm to prevent cross-contamination.

And all three models are also improving suction power with 6,000Pa.

You’ll be able to purchase the S8 series starting in April 2023 with prices beginning at $749.99 for the base model.

If you have more difficult messes, the company also unveiled the DyadPower, a non-robotic way to clean. It can vacuum and mop simultaneously. The 17,000Pa suction power vacuum will retail for $449.99 and be available at Amazon starting in January 2023.
