I uninstalled Ubuntu from my Windows 7 laptop. It was installed inside Windows. But it has left the entry in the boot loader. I tried to get rid of it through bcdedit and also in the boot options in the GUI, but it's still there. Any help will be much appreciated as I don't what to do a re-install. Thanks!

Put in your Windows 7 CD and boot from it. Once your at the menu, go along as if you were going to reinstall and chose repair. You will be presented with a few options, chose the command prompt. Once your at the command prompt type "bootrec /fixmbr" without quotes (assuming Windows is installed on your C partition). If that completes successfully, then type "bootrec /fixboot". SRC: Right here....http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-safely-uninstall-ubuntu-in-windows-dual-boot-environment/
