I am unable to change my background color for icons on the desktop. It really disturbs me. Please suggest solutions. I hope you will.

you can only change the background colour of your icons to transparent if your using a newer model of windows than 2000 or MEthe above link can help with that, but if all else failsinstall ubuntu, no background colours to your icons and its free!
