I installed Ubuntu on an old laptop but decided it just wasn't for me. I was wondering though if there's some way to use it to remote access my Windows 7 desktop. I've tried Splashtop for iPad, but it's just not as convenient as having a display, keyboard and pointing device all in one. Plus the iPad's screen is a little small.

Too lazy to reinstall Vista on the laptop and too broke to buy a decent chair and monitor for the desktop. :-)

How To Establish A Remote Desktop Access to Ubuntu from Windows (works visa versa)I would install Teamviewer , however. It's pretty simple. Download the Debian, Ubuntu package for Ubuntu, then install it. Finally, install the executable for Windows .
