Does anyone have some experience with devices that can be comfortably worn all day and capture vital signs - heart rate, blood pressure and etc - then download them to your computer? Any recommendations would be great.

The category of smart watches you are referring to is very difficult to get as these manufacturers limit the number of orders to prevent them from scalpers.I've found one watch which monitors only number of calories burned. It's Nike's Fuelband ( $149 )-http://www.nike.com/fuelband/Other I've found is Nike+Sportband ( $59 )which calculates heart rate, pace, calories burned etc. -http://nikeplus.nike.com/plus/products/sport_band/

great suggestions - not sure I would have found these without your help ; )For the next step (perhaps you or someone else has some more insight ?) - what google terms would I use to get a clear picture of all my choices and then determine which watch is the most accurate ? I'm sure monitoring your vital signs throughout a health workout is only going to get more and more common, but I'm not sure there's a consistent 'term' for this kind of watch.
