How can I recover a picture (taken last year) that I erased from my SD card and PC (recently crashed, nothing can be done)? I tried Recuva and it didn't work.

I hear there's a possibility of recovering you lost data but it's not guaranteed. Try using the softwares given above I would rather recommend you to learn having alternative backups like www.safecopybackup.com. Try out there 3GB free trial. It's good, I personally have experienced their services.

If the picture was deleted recently then yoou might still recover using file recovery apps. How long ago was it deleted? If the picture was taken and deleted a year ago then there's probably nothing you can do.
