Hi everyone,

I have got a problem with partition. I was trying to make a partition of drive C (441.65MB) into a 100GB partition. I have done everything from disk manager, but then an unallocated disk appeared.

I then right clicked on it and an option appears saying that there's a new "simple volume".  I clicked on it and I did as instructed in a video then a message appeared. I forgot what it was saying but I clicked on the "yes" button, then my laptop restarted and then my problem started. The volume made disappeared and my drive C showed memory 343.97MB.

Now I don't know where it has gone. Please give me some direction so I can regain my lost drive space.

I think Partition wizard could be useful.

perhaps the partition that disappeared have bad sectors do check for drive errorshttp://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Check-a-drive-for-errorsWhile performing check for drive errors (chkdsk) if any bad sectors are found when chkdsk tries to repair that sector data available on that might be lost.
