Is there a way to record a video chat to my Mac computer's hard drive and then burn that to a DVD? I plan to interview someone in another country and want to present the interview to a local audience.

If you are using Mac OS X 10.6 you could use QuickTime X to record your screen - but as far as I know it is only able to capture the entire screen, not a single window.Other options can be found here:http://alternativeto.net/software/jing/?platform=machttp://osx.iusethis.com/tag/screencast

Leonard, what you are looking for are
screencasting
tools. I'm sure there is software for the Mac, but since I'm on Windows, I cannot recommend any. However, there are online tools you could use as a workaround, for example
Screen Toaster
. It allows you to select an area on your desktop and you can record it. I'm pretty sure it also supports sound. You might also want to look into Jing's Screencast, reviewed by Bakari in this article:
