There's no Samsung call recorder app. Instead, the call recording functionality is baked into the One UI Phone app. This also means that you can only access the recorded call files from the Phone/Dialer app.

Samsung's call recorder does not play a pre-recorded message informing the parties about the call being recorded. This gives it a major advantage over phones that use the Google Phone app as the default dialer. On such devices, it is not possible to record a call without the other party knowing about it. Every time you start or stop a call recording, all participants on the call will hear a "This call is now being recorded" message.

How to Automatically Record Calls on a Samsung Phone

You can set your Samsung Galaxy smartphone to record all calls automatically. Depending on your preference, you can record calls from all contacts in your phone book, selected contacts, or only from unknown numbers.

1. Open the Phone app on your Samsung Galaxy device.

How to View Recorded Calls

You can view recorded calls on your Samsung Galaxy device from the Phone app.
