I am looking for a software that allows me to monitor usage on my windows network folders, i.e. last access date, biggest files, what changed today, how many MB per user, etc. Can you recommend a software?

We have profiled a program called HDD Profiler , check it out. It does offer some of the features you're looking for.

I am not sure of any software, but Windows has a very basic program in built. If you go to Device Manager, simple click on Shared Folders. From there, you can see what users have sessions and what files are open.Hope this helps.

I would just use the built in features of Windows to enable security auditing on the folder or folders in question and then you can audit for failed, successful or both on object access.
