Hi, Mrs B here again.

I'm looking for software (freeware hopefully).

I want something that when I connect my digital camera recognises it, then I just send the pics to it. I can re-touch my pics if need be and then send them to my printer in preparation for printing. Also it must recognise my scanner as I want to scan some pics and then store in my new software (album). I want to be able to go back to this software whenever I please and look at all my wonderful pics.

Now I just don't know what to look for. Someone mentioned Adobe but have you seen the price :0. No, Freeware would suit me fine.

Well I will keep my fingers crossed that one of you wonderful people will firstly understand my question and secondly have some software in mind.

Many thanks for reading!

Take care,

Mrs B.

Hi Mrs BI think most of what you are talking about sounds like software that comes with your hardware, but there are many options that can do at least some of what you want. Initially, you can actually do all that with windows already. It will transfer from your camera, create the folders for you, which you can view like large icons or filmstrip. If you want specific software, there are many now that include web integration.Picasa is one of them:http://picasa.google.com/If all you want is to be able to manage them on your computer, Photo manager has a very nice interface:https://www.anrdoezrs.net/links/7251228/type/dlg/sid/UUmuoUeUpU90220/https://www.magix.com/us/free-download/photostory-deluxe/

I second Picasa as well. I think it integrates all of the features you're looking for. MakeUseOf published many article about Picasa already, see http://www.makeuseof.com/tags/google-picasa/.
