As first spotted by 9to5Google, Gmail for mobile now offers the option to quickly replace your Google profile picture with a new image. It also offers the option to remove the existing image if you don't like it.
How to Change the Google Profile Picture in Gmail
To change or replace your Google profile picture in Gmail, you should have the Gmail app installed on your phone and your profile picture should be available on your phone.
Then, follow the following steps:
- Open the Gmail app on your smartphone.
- Tap the current profile picture at the top-right corner of the app.
- On the following screen, tap your current profile picture. This picture now has a small camera icon on it.
- The following screen lets you change your picture. Tap Change to change the picture.
- Tap Remove to remove your current profile picture.
