If you have a portion of a file that someone else needs, you seed (outbound from your computer to theirs). If you need a portion of a file, you download from someone else (inbound). Seeding = Giving Files. If you have completed a portion or all of a file that someone else needs to download, you will "seed" or "give" this file to them as well. Note that you still keep the file, you just share it with other users. This is how Peer To Peer (P2P) works.Leaching = Leeching has gotten a bad name, however in general a "leach" is someone who doesn't share what they've finished downloading, for whatever reason. This is frowned upon in the P2P community. How P2P Works: http://computer.howstuffworks.com/bittorrent1.htm
