I'm tryin to reinstall GIMP. It was working fine last night and now all of a sudden it's not workin at all.

It's giving me this warning when I go to open it:

GIMP Error Message

So I uninstall and of course reinstall and it's giving me the same stuff. Help?

HiRight, it is a GTK version conflict. then using these steps: 1. Install the latest GTK from http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html2. Rename 3 files in C:Program FilesGIMPshopbinlibglib-2.0-0.dll libgmodule-2.0-0.dll libgobject-2.0-0.dll to something else. 3. Copy the newer versions of the above 3 filenames from "%commonprogramfiles%GTK2.0bin" to "C:Program FilesGIMPshopbin" Now run GIMPshop, create a new image, and hope you should be fine. If you uninstalled then dont forget to clean the following reg keysHKEY_CLASSES_ROOTApplicationsgimp-2.6.exe HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTApplicationsgimp-win-remote.exe orIn Preferences dialogue and External editor (if it exist in GIMP)choose line : "Other command line" and insert direct path to the executable file (GIMP.EXE).

Juliet,I think your new version of Gimp isn't compatible with some old dependencies. Try uninstalling GTK+ for Windows as well as The Gimp, then re-install The Gimp. Sorry this is so complicated sometimes!
