Lately, I have been using my IE to browse or one of many other things I do online. Suddenly, I get the message that there has been an error committed and this operation will be shut down. Only moments later all my browser pages close.
I have run every scan I know to do on my laptop. Is there anything you can do to help me with the problem? I am losing lots of vital information each time this happens.

I'd just like to jump in to say that when IE acts like that, it's telling you to download
Firefox
.

I would recommend switching to Google Chrome or Firefox as well. Both are fairly stable in comparison to Internet Explorer

I am sorry this is happening to you.Try using Firefox instead. I have found it to be generally more stable than Internet Explorer: (It's free)http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ie.htmlIt also is faster, and more friendly than Internet Explorer, and if you want to make it look like Internet Explorer, you can do that with this extension:https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4988

I highly recommend that you download the Firefox browser and use it instead of IE. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/personal.html You will keep IE on your laptop and use it when it is required. I have been using Firefox for many years and find it easy to use. Try it and see if it works for you. It is free.

I also recommend trying
Google Chrome
. It's very fast and the latest version finally has support for extensions.
