Is there anyway that I can continue to use my old HP4M printer with my new mac? Love the printer and it still has a lot of years in it yet, but don't know how to transition it or is this impossible?

Tina is absolutely right. Get a parallel to USB cable converter. Although I believe that the printer driver may be built in to the OS. Which version of OS X are you using?

Sue,you can use an adapter from parallel cable to USB, so that is not a problem.Amazon has them: http://www.amazon.com/Micro-Innovations-USB545C-Parallel-Cable/dp/B000086TKQ?tag=muo-v2-31he29b-20&ascsubtag=UUmuoUeUpU90168&asc_refurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.makeuseof.com%2Fprinter-parallel-cable-mac%2F&asc_campaign=EvergreenIs your HP4M a LaserJet?In that case you'll find the drivers here: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?locale=en_US&taskId=135&prodSeriesId=25487&prodTypeId=18972&pnameOID=15044Good luck!
