What makes a good presentation? There are many different factors that could come to play here, but for simplicity's sake, we can boil them down to three things: a compelling idea, fantastic visuals, and a delivery that is both informative and engaging.

Prezi hopes to help you with at least two of those three components as it works with Google's productivity and collaboration tools.

Prezi Brings Video to Google Workspace

Presentation software company Prezi has announced through PR Newswire its new video integration with Google Workspace. It promises "an enhanced presentation experience" for users of Google Meet, Google Classroom, and Google Drive.

With Prezi Video, you can create and share live or pre-recorded virtual presentations. This allows you, the presenter, to dedicate more of your efforts towards engaging with your audience.

The new quick-editing tools make it easy to add graphics and other content in real time, even if you don't have any design experience. You could also check out our list of slideshow design mistakes you should avoid.

“We’re seeing executives from Fortune 500 companies and teachers alike using Prezi Video to give virtual presentations, so they can engage their content and audience more effectively in this new virtual enterprise,” said Prezi CEO Jim Szafranski.

In addition to Google Meet, Prezi Video also supports Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and GoToMeeting. More businesses and schools have had to adjusted their workflows to digital spaces as of late, so this integration couldn't be more timely.

Prezi's integration with Google Classroom grants teachers the ability to create interactive lesson plans, mini-lessons, and more. Google Drive also now works seamlessly with Prezi—sharing videos is as simple as dropping a link.

In an interview with Entrepreneur, Szafranski revealed that staying in touch with his team during the pandemic, especially with members that were in a completely different time zone, proved to be a really big challenge. Perhaps its was that experience that pushed him to improve upon Prezi to help teams address those communication issues.
