Apple iPod Touch 3Gen Version 3.1.3

I want to buy a USB charger, but I want to know what the power input is from my device. Is it 5V and 1000mA?

The original Apple USB Charger is 5V/1AFrom a more technical point - anything with 5V and 500mA-1000mA should do.Even a running iPod with lit display is charged via USB which usually is 500mA. Using a charger with 750mA or 1000mA will result in faster charging, shorter charge time.Personally I do suggest to stick with the Apple specifications. Simply because it's the fastest option and if you ever get an iPad you will need 1A charge current.
