Why does my posting take so long?

Andre,Jeff essentially answered your question. It takes a while for each question to be published (or rejected) because all questions are moderated by either Matt or me.We try not to publish too many questions at a time to give people like Jeff the chance to answer them before they are pushed off the front page by the next set of questions. Sometimes this creates a moderation queue of up to 30 questions, but we usually catch up within 24 hours. Many questions are asked over and over again. We only publish them occasionally to field for new/fresh answers. Other times we reject them and provide the person who asked the question with links to previously asked similar questions. In October we published 526 questions and rejected over 300.

Hi Andre,MakeUseOf answers published about 500 questions last month (October) and there are a lot of questions that must be filtered out. All questions must examined, which is performed by two people (Tina Sieber and Matt Smith I believe) who are also editors as well.
