Yet more free games arrive for PS4 and PS5 owners, as the Play At Home initiative receives its next bunch of titles.

New Play At Home Games Available Now

If you own a PS4 or a PS5, then the games Sony promised you should now be available. Well, nine of them are, at least. The tenth will arrive in April.

The games available to download now are:

  • Abzu
  • Enter the Gungeon
  • Rez Infinite
  • Subnautica
  • The Witness
  • Astro Bot Rescue Mission
  • Moss
  • Thumper
  • Paper Beast

You can access all of these games for free, courtesy of Sony. Even if you don't have a PS Plus subscription, these games are available for you to download and keep forever.

PS4 and PS5 owners should note, however, that some of these games are for PSVR; those being Moss, Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Paper Beast, and Thumper.

The tenth game, arriving on April 19th 2021, is Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition.

How Do You Get Play At Home Games?

Getting your free Play At Home games couldn't be any easier. You don't need to do anything other than download the game or games that you want. They're available now, just fire your console up and grab them.

Here's a full guide on getting play at home games, in case you want a bit more information.

One point to note; make sure you have enough console storage available. If you have installed any storage eating games on your PS4 or PS5 (Call of Duty Cold War and related being a prime example, but not the only one), then there may not be room for your free games.

In this instance, if you don't want to download the games yet, you can add them to your library and then download them at a later date. You don't need to have them installed on your device to claim them.

What Is Sony's Play At Home?

Play At Home is Sony's way of helping its user base out while everyone is still socially distancing. Games are expensive, so Sony has given a bunch away for free, so we've all got something to take our mind off this "new normal" we hear so much about.

Sony isn't just limiting the giveaways to games, either. You'll be able to access other media, like TV series via Funimation, as part of the initiative.

Go Play At Home!

You're probably itching to get yourself involved in some serenity with ABZU or a bit of pixelated pulverizing with Enter the Gungeon. Well, now you can, with Play At Home!

Don't forget, though, there is even more fun to be had if you subscribe to PlayStation Now. You can even test that out for free, for a week, so you can add even more value to your playing at home experience if you're clever about it.
