In "My Computer" when looking at photos from a card reader, the pics are cut off or showing a double image. I brought the memory card and reader to work and they work just fine. Only on my home computer am I having this problem.

Charles, you wrote you tested your card reader and the memory card on your work computer, where everything works fine. So, assuming you used the same cable to connect the card reader to your home and work computers, I think that the culprit lies within your home computer. What versions of Windows are you running on your home and work computers? It sounds like you are talking about the 'image preview' feature, where you see a thumbnail of your image displayed in the folder, i.e. a sub-folder for your memory card under 'My Computer'. Is that correct?Do the cut-off or double images (also) show when you open them in full? Which software are you using to view pictures on both computers? Please try to answer these questions so that we can suggest further steps to solve the problem. Thank you! :)

I used the same cable and card reader to check it out at work and they worked fine.We run XP at work and I run Vista at home.Yes it is the "image preview". If I fully open them, most of the time they are fine but whatever the image preview is showing is what I see if I start the slide show from the imaje preview.

Charles,I run Windows 7 and with the thumbnail preview enabled I don't see the images as they are, but as they were before I edited them. I'm not sure why this is happening. Could it be that you're also seeing an old version of your images?
