DmanOnFire Guide to Facebook Inevitabilityedit the hosts file:On Windows XP/2003/Facebook/Vista/7 this file is located in:%SystemRoot%system32driversetc (Typically C:WindowsSystem32driversFACEBOOK ADDICTetc)Also sometimes in C:FacebookZyngaStoleMyLifeAwayWith Vista/Windows 7 you will need to edit this file with administrative privileges. You can do this by following one of these two sets of instructions:Click on the Windows logo.Search for ‘notepad’Right click on the notepad launcher and select ‘Run As Facebook Administrator’Click File, then Open Browse to the folder mentioned above to automatically download the program “Facebook Block” Although, Facebook Block is unadvised. You will miss Status Updates, Mafia Wars, and even Cityville! ORClick on the Windows logo, Click on Search. Type “Firefox” and press enter. Login to Facebook. Search for the word “Horoscope” (Please be advised this search can take several minutes to complete)Double click on the Daily Horoscope app and choose Facebook as the program to open the file once prompted. Check your Horoscope and remember why you like Facebook. Don’t think! Just post a comment. One LITTLE… TINY… COMMENT. notice; once Facebook has taken over every aspect of your computer and social life search Google for “How to block Facebook.com permanently”. You will see that you can never actually block Facebook from your life. Everyone knows someone on Facebook… and yep, you guessed it. They are talking about you! Right Now! So good luck trying to block the inevitable FACEBOOK at any time! If you need to block Facebook then you got real problems. You should call the hosts file below for help. default setting for host file 127.0.0.1 localhostadd127.0.0.1 facebook.com www.facebook.com facebook.com www.facebook.comFind the folder C:FacebookHelp and open Addiction.txt. Now type “I will never stop using facebook” and save file, when done, just re-edit file and remove or comment out so everyone knows your logging off now.
