I am using Windows 7 and I have created my software & application backup DVD as .ISO format with Power ISO but whenever I try to restore the backup through my backup DVD, my PC hangs. Why?

Hello, is there a default program set to open/read ISO format in your computer? As you might know, windows does not have a program to read ISO by default. You might need to set, let's say power ISO as your default ISO reader.

which application you used to create the iso backup?how are you recovering from Backup ISO DVD?

I have used 'Power iso' to make backup of software and application as .iso format.I just inserted newly backup DVD in my DVD drive after creating it as .iso format, but when I insert it my pc hangs.Thanks in advance.

Basically when windows is on, you insert iso dvd and windows hangs.perhaps somehow your iso dvd is corrupted?can be problem from your dvd reader, uninstall it reboot and let windows to detect the new hardware and reinstall a new driver.Mount ISO File on Command Line [Broken Link Removed]Frequently asked questionshttp://www.poweriso.com/tutorials/index.htm

I said I have just backed up file in DVD with new DVD & at the same time I tried to taste that it's working or notbut it didn't worked.I had same problem with my previous backup CD.

install daemon tools free version, see if you can browse the dvd iso?
