Why is it that Outlook Express always sends multiple copies when I forward an email?

Another solution is to clear your Sent messages folder, or move messages from it to another folder. Outlook Express has 2 gb limit on Sent.dbx, if you reach that size of file - then it start to send emails all over again.

Use Thunderbird instead.Disable your antivirus, or the mail scanning option of antivirus.Find sent mails in the format of .dbx files, and delete themenable to view hidden files from the folder options.uncheck break apart messages from the advanced account properties.

1) maybe you have a malware on your pcOn your OE got to Tools>accounts>mailtab>double click the account name>advanced tab Uncheck the box marked "Break apart messages....."import OE emails into Microsoft Outlook or another email client. Open "My Computer", go to your Documents and Settings folder, be sure that you can view hidden files, select your user profile, Local Settings, Application Data, Identities. You will see a folder with a series of alphanumeric characters, once you delete it all email will be lost if you have not transfered it to another email client. Delete this folder. Close the window. Open Outlook Express and recreate your email account, then import your messages back in and you are done.
