The downloaded courses have several files that my computer does not open. What can I do to open them? They are mmap, libzip, zip, rar, php, daa, psd, shockwave flash object, mm, and Jscript script files. These files are integral to the course and need to be opened.
The question is, do I have to open all these different types? Where do I get free software for these that is verified downloadable sources.
Thanks,
Lewis

HiThose extension tdo not relate to each others so some needs different soft to be opened.mmap is for Mindmanager regarding zip you can use winzip shareware or download 7ZIP and extract those zip filesdaa files are movies stored in a special format for downloading so you need to use a special soft like Power ISO which is a shareware, or you cann convert it to iso format using this soft DAA2Iso http://aluigi.altervista.org/mytoolz.htm#both, so if you have 7zip installed then you can extract it psd is for photoshop but you can use Paint.NET, IrfanView or GIMP. Irfanview supports plugins (http://www.irfanview.com/) so they can help youshockwave flash object If it has the file extension .swf then you should be able to open it so long as you have Flash Player installed, or you can open it in your browser if you have the Flash Player plugin installedor for moviezhttp://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/WEB-Design/Flash/Flash-Movie-Player.shtmlJscript script files; jscript as in a .JS file extension? Should open with wscript.exe in Windows by default. It's possible that the script is written to run transparently (ie. no output to the user). If you were to right-click and select 'Edit', it should open in notepad. This would allow you to post the code so that we could comment further.http://www.functionx.com/jscript/Lesson01.htm
