When you're on an Apple Mac and you have downloaded something from the App Store, how do you open your download?

When you "purchase", the item gets downloaded and you are asked for your local-admin password. It is then installed. Once installed, it is in the Applications folder.

The Apps are automatically placed within the Application folder. You can either access them there directly via the Finder or using the OS X Launchpad (the 'F4 key' feature).
