After previously revealing the design of the OnePlus Watch and teasing other specs, OnePlus has officially announced its first smartwatch. The OnePlus Watch features a 46mm dial size with a 1.39-inch circular display.

The OnePlus Watch's highlight is its battery life and fast charging speeds, with OnePlus claiming the wearable can last for up to two weeks on a single charge.

IP68 Certified, Stainless Steel Casing, and Sapphire Glass

The OnePlus Watch features a stainless steel casing with two physical buttons on the right side. It will be available in silver and black colors. It is also IP68 certified, making it dust and water-resistant.

Apart from the 1.39-inch circular OLED display that's protected by sapphire glass, the watch features 1GB RAM and 4GB storage. The internal storage is good enough to hold 500 songs, as per OnePlus.

Other key specs include a built-in speaker, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS. There's no cellular connectivity here, and OnePlus does not intend to offer a variant with 4G connectivity as well.

For health tracking, the OnePlus Watch features an optical heart rate and blood oxygen sensor. This allows the watch to track and monitor your sleep, stress levels, blood oxygen saturation, and heart rate. The watch has over 110 workout modes and features automatic workout detection as well.

OnePlus Watch Specs

No Wear OS

Despite being a smartwatch, the OnePlus Watch does not run on Wear OS. Instead, it runs on RTOS (Real-Time Operating System) as seen on Fitbit and Huawei's smartwatches. OnePlus will be bundling over 50 customizable watch faces, but no Wear OS means no Play Store access and limited third-party app and watch face support.

OnePlus will release a companion Android app that will allow for notification mirroring and let you receive calls. The company is also working on an iOS app for iPhone users, but that's coming in the future.

Two-Week Battery Life With Warp Charge Support

The upside of the OnePlus Watch not running Wear OS is that it can offer stellar battery life. OnePlus claims the watch can last for two weeks on a single charge, though this could drop to one week with heavy use.

What's even better is that with Warp Charge, the OnePlus Watch can last for up to one week after just 20 minutes of charging.

OnePlus Watch Pricing and Availability

The OnePlus Watch will cost $159 in the United States and be available starting on April 14. In Europe, the OnePlus Watch will cost €159. You can order the watch now from the OnePlus Store.

OnePlus will also launch a Cobalt Limited Edition of the OnePlus Watch. This variant will feature a cobalt alloy casing, which OnePlus says is twice as hard as stainless steel. This limited-edition model is "coming soon," and there is no word yet on its pricing or availability.
