Nintendo Updates the Switch Online App for Android and iOS
As of right now, you can download the update for the Nintendo Switch Online app from the App Store or Google Play Store. The 2.0 update is one of Nintendo's many changes recently made to the Nintendo Switch Online service.
Earlier in 2022, Nintendo also updated the subscription services on the Nintendo Switch so that players could make use of the new missions and rewards. And now, the Nintendo Switch Online app also has a few new features that will make Switch users who play online very happy.
What's New in Nintendo Switch Online?
Now, both Android and iPhone users can copy their friend code easily and share it with their friends and family. Before the update, you'd need to manually copy your friend code from your Nintendo Switch and send it to your friends, which was one of the most common and annoying Nintendo Switch problems.
Thankfully, all you need to do now is go into the app's settings, and you'll be able to view and copy your friend code with just one tap. Unfortunately, your friends will still need to enter the code manually. So be sure to send it first if you don't want to waste time typing.
Other changes include the ability to see when your friends are online, change your online status, and other minor changes to the app's design, which are always welcome. Nintendo also lists that other minor changes have been implemented, but it doesn't specify what these changes are about.
