If you're on the hunt to upgrade your old hardware, Microsoft has some brand new offerings in its Surface range. Both the Surface Pro X and the Surface Laptop Go are now ready for you to buy from the official Microsoft store.

Where to Buy the Surface Pro X and Surface Laptop Go

First up, we have the new Surface Pro X. We previously covered this device when rumors of a Surface Pro X successor began to emerge. Sources stated that a new iteration of the Surface Pro X would give small touch-ups to the current system.

Sure enough, the rumors were true. The new Surface Pro X is a step-up from its older brother, sporting an upgraded SQ2 processor and a brand new platinum color that's exclusive to this new generation.

Besides these changes, however, there's not much difference between this new Surface Pro X and the old version. As such, if you own the older model, it may not be worth the upgrade unless you really want a meatier processor (or a shiny platinum device).

You can purchase the new Surface Pro X on the official Microsoft Surface store. The device starts at $799.99 and can be configured to match your needs and demands better.

Next is the Surface Laptop Go. We also covered this when Microsoft announced the Surface Laptop Go, along with pricing and preorder details.

The Surface Laptop Go is designed to equip entire families to work and learn online in light of the current pandemic. As such, it's priced as a mid-range laptop and holds the title of the cheapest Surface laptop available right now.

However, the starting price of $549.99 doesn't get you a great deal of storage space, with 4GB of RAM and a 64GB SSD. Microsoft likely intends people to only use the cheapest version for office suites, particularly ones on the cloud.

We'll have to see how reviewers take to this somewhat-cramped laptop to see if it surpasses its low specifications. If you're willing to give it a shot yourself, head over to the Microsoft Surface store and pick up your own.

The New Surface Products: Are They a Hit or a Miss?

Microsoft has released both the revamped Microsoft Surface X and the new Surface Laptop Go for everyone to buy. Now, it's up to the users to decide if the Surface range has a place in a post-COVID world or not.

Hopefully, these Surface products give a better first impression than the recent Surface Duo. Reviewers were not wholly impressed with Microsoft's ambitious two-screen device.
