In November 2021, Netflix released a handful of free games to play through its Android and iOS app. Now, the streaming service has expanded its offering with three more games that are rolling out globally.

What New Games Are Available on Netflix?

It's fair to say the first batch of Netflix games were underwhelming. Though two were based on Stranger Things, the rest were generic mobile games that we've seen a million times before.

Now, Netflix is launching three new games on Android and iOS globally that still won't exactly get your heart racing. These are Dominos Café, Knittens, and Wonderputt Forever.

Dominos Café is based on the classic tile game, which is playable solo or in pairs. Knittens is a match-3 game, much like all others, though as you progress you gain outfits for your kitten companion. Finally, Wonderputt Forever is a mini-golf game set across a variety of themed courses.

Netflix has also announced two games coming in the future: Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story (a rhythm game) and Arcanium: Rise of Akhan (a card strategy game).

How to Play Games on Netflix

It's easy to play games on Netflix. All you need is an active Netflix subscription and to use the Android or iOS app.

Launch the app and select Games from the bottom menu. Alternatively, if you're using a tablet, navigate to the Games category or scroll until you find the dedicated homepage row.

This takes you to a page that lists all the games. Find the one you want, select it, tap Get game, and install it from your device's app store.

You can now launch the game through the Netflix app, or through your device's app library.

Do Netflix Subscribers Care About Gaming?

Netflix continues to invest and expand its gaming operation, so it clearly cares about spreading its wings beyond movie and TV streaming. But the real question is whether subscribers care. Until Netflix starts producing unique video game experiences that can't be found elsewhere, the answer is probably not.
