MSI continues its strong presence at the all-digital version of CES 2021 with its "MSIology" virtual launch event, revealing a glut of new Nvidia RTX 30-series powered gaming laptops.

Particularly of note is the powerful GE76 Raider Dragon Edition Tiamat. But with a host of other new gaming laptops to boot, here's what MSI served up during their event.

MSI GE76 Raider Dragon Edition Brings the Power

First up, the case. The Raider Dragon Edition case carries a detailed etching of a dragon, with scales on the hinge surrounds and elsewhere. There's also a nice RGB light strip running along the front of the GE76, and the RGB extends to the keyboard too.

MSI claims the GE76 Raider Dragon Edition has "the best performance you can obtain from a gaming laptop."

The specs certainly go some way to backing up that audacious claim, featuring an Intel Core i9-10980HK processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 mobile GPU, along with 32GB RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD.

You'll also have use of numerous ports, including Mini DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4, and other USB 3.2 Type-C and Type-A ports.

Interestingly, the GE76 Raider Dragon Edition will feature Wi-Fi 6E, allowing the gaming laptop to access the 6GHz Wi-Fi spectrum. While there are few routers currently using Wi-Fi 6E, we're expecting support to increase throughout 2021.

Does the GE76 Raider Dragon Edition sound a bit overkill for your requirements? There are other exceptional gaming laptops in the MSI GE76 Raider lineup, some featuring Intel Core i7-10870H CPUs, the same Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 GPUs, and other similar specs.

Not forgetting the slightly smaller sibling to the GE76, the MSI GE66, both of which feature amazing 300Hz IPS panels.

Of course, the souped-up MSI Raider gaming laptops won't appeal to everyone. MSI is also launching the GP66 and GPG7 Leopard, two laptops focusing not only on gamers but on "the demanding jobs of engineers and professionals."

The Leopard range will feature Intel Core i7-10750H CPUs, up to 16GB RAM, a choice of an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 or RTX 3080, a tidy 144Hz IPS screen, and HDMI output. You can also choose between a 512GB or 1TB NVMe SSD.

Is This the Thinnest Laptop in the World?

Rounding it up, MSI also revealed the Stealth 15M, which MSI touts as the world's thinnest gaming laptop. In fact, of all the gaming laptops at MSI's CES 2021 launch, the MSI Stealth 15M is the most budget-friendly.

Featuring an Intel Core i7-11375H—a brand new 11th-gen Intel processor—along with 16GB RAM and a 512GB NVMe SSD. Furthermore, the Stealth 15M is set to become one of the first gaming laptops to feature Nvidia's newly announced GeForce RTX 3060 mobile GPU.

Although the RTX 3060 isn't as mind-blowingly powerful as the RTX 3070 or the RTX 3080, it is still an exceptional graphics card that will allow you to game at 60FPS in 1080p at the minimum.
