After experiencing driver problems and as a result of changing outdated drivers to cure the problem, the Mouse reaction to movement became sluggish, even after cleaning.

Maybe you are low on virtual memory due to the updates, try uninstalling sone of the updates(the ones that are less important)

uninstall the update and then try or select ur mouse speed from control panel>mouse

Ron, you might have to tune your mouse.Since you didn't specify your operating system I will assume you're using Windows XP. Go to > Control Panel > Mouse and look at the various options there. You can tune the double-click speed of the mouse keys, how fast the cursor moves etc.Please let us know if this solved your problem. Thank you.
