Wear OS is slowly becoming a solid smartwatch operating system. New watches are consistently released running the OS, and a new device called the TicWatch Pro 3 is the latest Wear OS device to make waves in the space.

The TicWatch Pro 3 is packed with all sorts of high-end features that make it worth a look for anyone seeking a non-Apple Watch wearable device that'll keep track of all the important data you need to stay healthy.

Why the Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 Is Worth a Look

The TicWatch Pro 3 from Mobvoi looks to be quite solid. It uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor platform to keep track of all the key data. It comes with fitness tracking, health monitoring, NFC with Google Pay, and all of the other features you'd expect to see from a high-end smartwatch.

The TicWatch Pro 3 comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

As you'd expect, it comes with Bluetooth for wireless connectivity. Specifically, it features Bluetooth 4.2 with Bluetooth Low Energy. That Low Energy feature allows the watch the last for up to 72 hours. There's also the Essential Mode, which scales back the functionality and provides up to 45 days of life.

With Bluetooth 4.2, the watch can connect to an iOS or Android device, so Apple fans aren't left out of this one.

The TicWatch has all sorts of apps that give it the functionality you'd expect. There's TicPulse to take your pulse, TicSleep to monitor your sleep (which the TicWatch Pro 3 can do even in the low-power Essential Mode), and plenty of other cool apps.

Like most smartwatches released in 2020, this one comes with IP68 water and dust resistance, so it should be able to survive your daily life.

TicWatch Pro 3 Price and Availability

The thing that really sells the TicWatch Pro 3 is the price. When you look at the breadth of features it offers, the $299.99 price tag really seems quite reasonable.

If you're interested in getting your hands on the watch, you can get it on Mobvoi's website starting September 24.
