Recently, Microsoft added the ability to run Android apps on your PC with the Your Phone App. Now, the feature is getting even better with multiple app support—that is, if you fit the very strict requirements.

Microsoft's Plans for the Your Phone App

You can check out all the small details over on the Microsoft Community website. Microsoft has pushed an update to the Windows Insider Dev, Beta, and Release channels that lets you run multiple apps on your PC through the Your Phone app.

If you saw Microsoft's initial announcement of Your Phone running apps on your PC, you'll know that the list of compatible phones was strict. You could only use the feature on select Samsung phones.

Now, with this new feature, the net is getting even smaller. This feature is currently only compatible with the following phones:

  • Samsung Galaxy Note20 5 G
  • Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Flip
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G
  • Samsung Galaxy S20 5G
  • Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G
  • Samsung S20 Ultra 5G

As such, if you're one of the lucky few that ticks all of the boxes, you can get to using multiple apps on your PC as soon as the update rolls out to you.

If you're not one of the lucky few that's eligible for this update, don't worry. There's plenty of cool and useful things you can do with the Your Phone app, such as transferring photos and sending texts.
