If you hate juggling between Yammer and Microsoft Teams to catch up with everything happening in your company, your day has just been made a lot easier. Microsoft has confirmed that you can now link your Yammer to Teams and get all of your notifications in one place.

Combining Yammer and Microsoft Teams

This update comes as part of a larger push to make Teams a one-stop-shop for productivity. Recently, Microsoft released pop-out Teams apps, meaning you can open your favorite productivity tools without needing to take your eyes off of Teams.

Now, Microsoft is bringing its Yammer service into the fold. The software giant made an announcement on Tech Community explaining how to set up Yammer notifications in Microsoft Teams.

The steps are easy; head to the Teams apps page and search for the Communities app. Once installed, you can then set up your Yammer and get all of your notifications in Microsoft Teams.

Microsoft Teams: the Next Big Productivity Hub?

Microsoft really doesn't want its Teams users to leave its service, going so far as bringing its other products onto Teams. We'll have to see if Microsoft's efforts make Teams the "one size fits all" service that the software giant wants it to be.

With all these apps making their way over to Teams, you can imagine that it'll get challenging to navigate through them all. Fortunately, Microsoft has thought about this and will soon revamp how you navigate through Teams.
