Microsoft's Edge browser is its best offering yet in the modern market, and the company is keen to keep it as a powerful contender to the competition. Now, the Redmond giant has released Microsoft Edge Canary onto Android.

Microsoft Edge Canary's Debut on Android

If you want to give it a spin, you can find the official app on the Google Play store. If you're a fan of Microsoft Edge, it's a great way to see what's in store for the tech giant's browser.

If you're wondering where birds come into all of this, Microsoft Edge Canary is a test build of the browser. The Canary build receives updates every day, containing features and fixes that Microsoft had coded the day before.

As such, you can use Canary to check out all the hot new features before anyone else does. Unfortunately, you'll also encounter the hot new bugs that come with them. This is why it's called "Canary;" it's like the birds that miners took with them to check for danger.

A New Browsing Experience for Android

If you feel like changing up your browser on Android, why not give Microsoft Edge a try? It's a great way to see what's planned for Edge, even if it can get a little buggy.

Despite Microsoft's poor track record with browsers, you should definitely not turn your nose up at the new Edge. In fact, it recently overtook Firefox for users worldwide.
