Which microphone on Amazon.in would fit the 3.5"/microphone socket of a CQ42 115TU Laptop?

Does is actually measure 3.5mm? Is it too big, too small or the wrong shape to fit in the jack?

hi. I tried finding specs in Laptop itself and I could reach HP support assistant dock which has section on Specifications which did not include mic socket size. The specs section has an online link which shows list of CQ Laptop series but not including 115TU

This laptop takes a standard 3.5mm audio jacks , so any microphone with such a connector will work. For example
Invons TMK-G22 Mini Microphone
(R515.00)
eForCity VOIP / SKYPE Mini Flexible Microphone - Black
(R1,214.00)Then again, you could use a USB microphone, or even a headset such as
CYBER ACOUSTICs AC-851B USB stereo headset w/microphone & noise canceling (silver)
(R4,749.00)You didn't say what you want it for. If all you want it for is for Skype etc, then any of the above will do, but if you want it for recording (e.g. for podcasts, or music), then you will need to look for something better. At any rate, the thing to look for is USB or 3.5mm jack. Other connectors (and in particular XLR) can't be plugged in directly.
