Mac OS X Lion crashed on my PC and I don't have the disk anymore. How do I make a Lion OS X recovery disk with a PC and use it to fix my iMac?

As a preventative measure I would also make a backup, bootable drive. Keeping an up to date bootable drive is useful in those computer malfunction emergencies.

The Lion installation automatically created a Recovery partition you can boot from: Turn on the Mac and keep holding

cmd + R to boot into the recovery mode.If this partition is no longer existent or accessible you will have to get a Installation DVD or USB stick (either via the Apple store or from someone who already got one) If you have access to another Lion system you can create a Recovery media using the Lion Recovery Disk Assistant .If you have a recent iMac model (2011, shipping with Lion) the Lion Internet Recovery is included within the firmware and will start if the "cmd + R" method fails. * All methods require a working Internet connection either wired or via WPA/WPA2 WiFi! Without access to the Lion recovery partition on the hard drive, it can't be done. But you can purchase a recovery USB drive from Apple for $69.https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1433
