I have intel core 2 duo 2.2 Ghz processor and 2 Gb Ram and the only BIG software that start in boot is the antivirus "BitDefender Total security 2009"

After the boot i play games and open too much software so i don't think that it's the Ram problem (i think)

And Thanks :)

I use Windows XP as OS , and i don't think that there is conflicts with other security programs (i even turn off the xp firewall)And yes i'm sure that my computer is taking a long time to start up, sometimes it takes 5min and sometimes 25min.(for me 25min is too much for just startup)And i checked all the programs which runs on startup, and i kept only the importants programs .

There are some programs like 'msconfig' which will show all the programs which runs on startup , you may have to check those and analysis and decide which need to be turned on. There are are few 3rd party software available for free to do this in windows 7. you can check it here http://dotgiri.com/2010/01/05/enable-and-disable-windows-7-startup-program-list-with-whatinstartup/

Mohamed,BitDefender could be the cause for the slow start up. Did you look into that already?Which Windows operating system are you using? Can you exclude conflicts with other security programs? Also check out the answers to this question:http://www.makeuseof.com/answers/find-computer-slows/And this article:http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/10-quick-fixes-to-make-your-windows-computer-faster/

How do you know that your computer is taking a long time to start up? Where do you get stuck? How long is "long"? Minutes? Hours?
