iTunes, Quicktime, Safari in Ubuntu 10.04 Using PlayOnLinuxhttp://ooboontoo.blogspot.com/2011/06/itunes-quicktime-safari-in-ubuntu-1004.htmlInstall PlayOnLinux, it's in the repos. It's a front end that will take care of most of the WINE configuration. From a terminal.# sudo apt-get install playonlinux run it, it will update for a while, install the Microsoft fonts to be ready to use. Click install, then multimedia, then iTunes. point it to the iTunes setup file

It's not available, and no matter what anyone tells you it's not worth trying to run in Wine. It won't run well, and you won't like it.

No is my first answer, iTunes is not official available for Ubuntu. It can be installed via WINE, but I am fairly certain functionality will be limited.http://www.ehow.com/how_5197743_download-itunes-linux-ubuntu.html Is there a specific reason you need iTunes on Ubuntu, iPod, iPhone etc.http://www.simplehelp.net/2007/07/08/10-alternatives-to-itunes-for-managing-your-ipod/

Wine is a compatibility layer that lets you install Windows programs on Unix-like systems, including Ubuntu.Using Wine, it’s possible to install Apple’s iTunes jukebox software on a Ubuntu system. The implementation isn’t quite perfect, but it will let you play music and video files.
