My iTunes & store has worked perfectly, but suddenly stopped connecting. When I open the store within iTunes, it says 'accessing iTunes store', but only reaches half way before stopping.
It is not disabled in the parental controls, and shows no error messages. Could it be the new version, as it has worked for years.
OS: Windows Vista
Version: 10.4

Hopefully fixed.https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3223139?start=0&tstart=0

Same problem, tried several other solutions (re-authorizing computer, etc). My problem turned out to be that my firewall was blocking internet explorer (which I don't use). When I allowed IE access, I could then access the iTunes store without any problem.

Hi Kyle,Make sure that you have
the lastest version
, then
authorize your computer
(iTunes -> Store -> Authorize this computer). In some cases, you may need to deauthorize and then authorize your computer. Make sure that your firewall has an exception in place for iTunes.
